anyone having trouble getting money out of their columbia mutual fund accounts?

I asked for a small redemption of shares be liquidated on 9/30/08. They assured me a check was issued on 10/1/08; online it looks like they are dealing me "straight", but as of yet, still no check in my mailbox...I sweating this, because I need the money to close on a home the end of the month...anyone else? have problems?
