Solar/energy stocks

Hello!  Given the prices of oil and gas these days, I have come to resort to more beneficial ways to transport myself, such as riding my bike and walking.  I have also turned financially to the solar sector, b/c the innovations are just coming out like hotcakes right now!  Analysts I think are really pressing that these stocks are where it's at in this dismal marketplace, so I have taken such inquiries and will give it a shot.  I particularly am liking SunPower (SPWR) right now; I just listened to a review on them on a video podcast.  Here's the link if anyone wants to watch, called the Analyst's Review.  Is anyone else veering toward such stocks?  To me, the future is now and it's in solar power.  I think the sun will be here for much longer than anything else, may as well take advantage of it ;)  Thanks!
